Privacy Policy

Plain-English summary

You do not need to sign up, and we ask for no personal details. We keep only what we need to run the service, and your messages delete themselves on their own. We never sell your data. Light ads keep the site free, and you control ad cookies through our consent banner.

Your privacy comes first at TempMail.now. This page tells you, in plain words, what data we handle, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. It also lists the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We built the service to collect as little as we can. You do not need to register, and you do not have to share personal details. Here is the only data we handle:

  • Temporary email addresses. We make a random address for you when you ask. We store it on our servers for a short time.
  • Email content. When someone emails your temporary address, we hold that message for a short time so you can read it. Then we delete it.
  • Server logs. To check that the site runs well, we may log basic data like an IP address, a browser type, and a time stamp. This data is anonymized.

Want to see how this works in practice? Try our free disposable email tool. It needs no account.

How We Use Your Information

We only use this data to run the service and make it better. In short, we use it to:

  • Give you a working temporary email inbox.
  • Keep the site stable and safe.
  • Improve the site using anonymized, grouped stats.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your temporary address and its emails are deleted on their own after a set time. So your data stays short-lived. We do not keep it for the long term.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies to keep your session working and to run basic features. These are needed for your temporary inbox to work. Any analytics we run use anonymized, grouped data only. We do not build a personal profile of you.

Advertising

Light advertising keeps TempMail.now free to use. We work with third-party advertising partners who may set their own cookies, or use similar technology, to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, we show a consent banner so you can accept or reject these ad cookies before any are set, and you can change your choice at any time.

  • You control ad cookies through the consent banner.
  • We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
  • Ad partners never receive the contents of your inbox.

Data Security

We use strong encryption and safe practices to protect your data. We watch our servers and update them often. This helps block unwanted access and fix weak spots.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with other companies. In rare cases, we may share data if the law makes us, or to protect the safety and rights of our users.

Your Rights

You are in control. You have the right to:

  • See any data we hold about you, if we hold any.
  • Ask us to delete any stored data.
  • Opt out of data we do not need, such as analytics.
Tip: For the most privacy, use a fresh temporary address for each site, and let it delete itself when you are done. Skip logging in with a real account, and close the tab once you have your message.

Updates to the Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We do this to match changes in how we work or in the law. When we make a change, we post it on this page with a "Last Updated" date.
