How Microsoft sign-up works
One Microsoft account covers Outlook, Xbox, Teams, OneDrive, Windows, and Microsoft 365. When you sign up, you can either create a new outlook.com address or use an email you already have. Steps if you still want to try
If your task is small and one-time, here is the flow. Use a longer inbox so the code has time to arrive.
- Open TempMail.now and copy the temporary address at the top.
- On the Microsoft sign-up page, choose to use your own email and paste it in.
- Set a password, then check your temp inbox for the code.
- Enter the code and solve the CAPTCHA.
- If Microsoft asks for a phone number, stop. A temp email cannot go further.
